Teacher Exchange Program

Each year, one teacher from each partner school will go to other's school to teach languages, environmental education; experience school life, education systems and to increase communication between partnership schools. 

“I can never forget my experience of teaching in an African school. It is my first time to experience the students’ the strong eager to study and how the importance of education to the students and also to their families. This experience changed my life I think. And I also learned a lot from the local teachers that I can apply to my classrooms in the U.S.”

For the first phase of this project, the teacher chose to come to China will be focus on environmental education teachers. A training workshop for local environmental educators will also be held at the partnership schools that is free and open to teachers from that school and the schools around. The teacher chose to come to U.S. will be focus on chinese language teachers. This project will be a part of Hanban (Confucious Classroom) project. https://www.hanban.edu.cn/
